What is Kiwanis

Kiwanis is the 2nd oldest, 3rd largest International Service Organisation in the world.

Founded in January 1915 in Detroit Michigan, USA, Kiwanis is only preceded by Rotary International which was formed in February, 1905.

Australia became the twenty-second country in the world to embrace Kiwanis and on 2nd October 1967, the Kiwanis Club of Melbourne was formed.

Membership in a Kiwanis club will give you the chance to meet people from all walks of life, including local business people and community leaders. It will also give you the opportunity to contribute to improving your community.
